I've read that that the 8" resaw is all you can get out of this (no risers), but I have seen that the Grizzly risers in an Amazon review will work for the saw. Anybody know for sure if this is doable? Amazon Link I'm wondering if he has a different model crafstman as he says it goes to 12", but a 6" riser on the current model should push it to 14". |

I don't know for sure, but I would bet that the riser blocks would have to be matched to the allignment pins of the saw. Plus you have blade guards etc. to contend with. The riser block is only one peice of the kit. I'm not saying that it won't work, but I would say be sure of their return policies before ordering, and keep your packing material for returning the kit if it doesn't fit. Good luck Al |

Never mind, the new Craftsman saws are not C-frame type. Don't think it'll work. Bummer. The $450ish with fence and potential 14" resaw was enticing. Even the Rigid will cost that much when you add a fence, and it has less power. Ah well. |
